“What's up everyone, I'm Burdy, a house DJ and producer from Chicago. I was visiting a friend at TCU and went to a college bar for the first time. "Food for the Soul" by It's Murph came on and it was euphoric. Right then I knew I needed more of that sound, and I had no idea how much more was out there. Since then I've been building my collection and playing it anywhere I can: house parties, bars, pool parties, frats, most notably opening for Lil Mosey and Tee Grizzley. I play across almost all genres of house, but for this mix I started with some rolling groovers and then moved into deep tech. I love basslines that won't sit still and drums that get your body moving in ways you didn't know it could. It's Murph hooked me, along with Chris Lake, Prospa, Mau P, and Silva Bumpa. These guys keep me inspired and spark my dream of doing what they do one day. Lately I've been shifting my time from mixing to production to start shaping my own sound.
